CEA DTV Closed Captioning (DTVCC) Test Materials. Thiscontains 5 bitstreams that provide an initial indication of a DTV receiving device's basic ability to decode CEA-608-B (Line 21 Data Service) and CEA-708-B (Digital Television (DTV) Closed Captioning) captions from an ATSC transport stream. The bitstreams are designed to test several closed captioning features/functions that a receiver might attempt to receive, decode and display, including: various character sets, paint-on and roll-up captions, various basic codes (including Default, mono- & proportionally-spaced with and without serif); multiple fonts within a window or within a row; character foreground and background attributes and some window attributes; window commands, including anchor, reset, priority, clear, display, hide, toggle and delay.
