This standard establishes safe operating practices for the installation, maintenance, and removal of membrane roofing that is seamed or seamless on low-sloped roofs, which means the roof has a slope that is less than or equal to 4 in 12. These types of roofs include but are not necessarily limited to: hot and cold built-up roofing, single-ply roofing, spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing, liquid-type roofing (Hypalon, polyurethane, etc.), and modified bitumens.
