The material defined by this specification is corrosion protective coating for steel. It consists of a zinc phosphate pre-treatment or an alkaline clean and mechanical (shot blast) pre-treatment followed by a zinc-rich basecoat and an integrally lubricated aluminum-rich topcoat. The topcoat provides enhanced corrosion protection, and consistent torque-tension control.
