The materials defined by these specifications are extruded hot
melt polyolefin base sealers which flow under heat to a smooth
surface of uniform width. They are suitable for use in exterior
exposure and are paintable with exterior enamels presenting an
acceptable appearance free from stains, checks and porosity.
