Foreword:

During 2006 a series of meetings with CAD Drafting Committee concluded that the requirements of PP001 were not being consistently followed and were misunderstood. The principal reason for this was that CAD Drafting requirements are contained in the Ford Motor Company Cad Drafting Standards. Cad Drafting people are familiar with this document but were not familiar with the requirements of PP001. In order to resolve this issue and ensure that all CAD Drafting requirements are maintained within a single global document, the requirements of PP001 were included in Section F-7 of the CAD Drafting Standards. Section F-7 of the CAD drafting Standards was released on December 31, 2006, this release made the requirements of PP001 redundant.
